#6 Circle Hooks for
Bluegill and Crappie
No need to jerk your rod … Let the line come tight and “set the hook” by letting the fish swim away with the bait.
Good on the Fish and Good on the Fisherman. 50+ bluegill, bream, crappie, and white perch Caught in a day with NONE gut hooked!
This video shows how Barefoot weighted circle hooks work with soft plastics, like the Trout Magnet Watermelon Crawdad (crayfish) for all types of panfish including bluegill (bream), crappie, white perch – all smaller mouth fish. ZERO Deep Hooked Fish!
These #6 circle hooks for bluegill and other panfish are the most versatile hooks on the market.
Over 50 bluegill, crappie, white perch, and other panfish were
caught in one day with NO gut-hooked fish.
Why Should You use circle hooks?
- Almost 100% of the time they hook fish in the lips, rather than gut hook the fish.
- They can be used with any soft plastics, live or cut bait.
- You don’t have to set the hook by “yanking” on the rod to drive the hook point into the jaw of the fish.
- They “gradually” (slowly) set as the tightening of the line draws the hook into the corner of the fish’s mouth, and then additional tension of the line “sets the hook.”
